Which of your services are covered?

Tranche 2 is about the service, not your job title. If any of these apply, you have obligations for that work.

Trusts and SMSFs

Trust deeds read for you

Upload the deed; we pull out trustees, appointors and beneficiaries and build the ownership tree.

Hundreds of existing clients

Import and triage

Bring in your client list; we flag which clients use designated services and need a file first.

No compliance officer

One person, three roles

Sole practitioners can hold every governance role. We record each sign-off so it’s clear who approved what.

Company groups

ASIC data, mapped

Directors and shareholders pulled from the ASIC extract, with anyone owning 25% or more flagged.

Annual report

Pre-filled for you

Client counts, reviews and training records flow into your annual compliance report answers.

“The inherent risk is low because we know our clients already, yet we have to implement a compliance program that is onerous, punitive and unwieldy, for a handful of matters a year.”
Accounting firm, Australia’s AML Readiness Report 2026 (Visibl)

That’s exactly who this is for: a light program for low-risk practices, with checks only on the matters that need them.

Questions accountants ask

Do I need checks for every existing client?

Only for clients you provide designated services to from 1 July 2026 onward. Import your list and we’ll help you sort which ones need a file and when.

What about SMSFs and family trusts?

Trusts are where most of the work is. Upload the deed and we identify the trustees and beneficiaries, then send each person who needs verifying a link.

Is a tax return a designated service?

Usually not on its own. It becomes relevant when you also do things like set up entities, handle client money or help with a business sale. Check AUSTRAC’s guidance for accountants.

How long does setup take?

Most practices finish the guided program setup in under an hour, then onboard clients as matters come in.
